Talk:Via Anelli Wall
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
First of all, sorry for my bad english; I live in Padua and this wall is not considerable something similar to the Berlin Wall; they built it trying to block the access of a lot of drug dealers in via Anelli, that today is famous in Italy for the extreme high crime rate of the last years. The wall has not closed the ordinary access to via anelli, it has only closed the only way to enter in via Anelli without passing the police control, and it's an emergency solution. I believe it is not an argument for an encyclopedia (it's not an important fact), better a Via Anelli article however, and it's very POV. --piero tasso 01:11, 19 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] POV problems seem to have been edited out
I have just been copy editing this article, and it strikes me as factual in content and neutral in tone. (That did not apply to the first versions.) I’m therefore removing the POV tag. Hope that’s ok with everyone. —Ian Spackman 15:49, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] ================================
The wall has been demolished between September and October 2007. By the way I've been living in that area for 40 years and more than the wall, I was surprised on how all media (national and international channels) did not broadcasted or talked about the many examples of pacific integration in the same area. That was really a global example of mis-information. Davide Gobbo Padua Italy (March 2008)
