Viù is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Turin in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 30 km northwest of Turin. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,198 and an area of 84.5 km².[1]
The municipality of Viù contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Fucina, Fubine, Trichera, Bertesseno, Niquidetto, and Chiampetto.
Viù borders the following municipalities: Mezzenile, Traves, Germagnano, Lemie, Vallo Torinese, Varisella, Condove, Val della Torre, and Rubiana.
