Wikipedia:Version 1.0 Editorial Team/Dynamic Pocket Cyclopedia

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This ‘’’Dynamic Pocket Cyclopedia’’’ is intended to be an evolving list of no more than half of Wikipedia’s most important featured articles, featured lists, and designated good articles.

When adding to the list, please:

  1. Indicate the item’s status: WP:FA, WP:FL, or WP:GA.
  2. Indicate the date, by writing five tildes. The age of entry’s inclusion gives a rough idea of how much agreement it engenders.
  3. For good articles, include a link showing to the difference between versions showing when the article so designated. This isn’t needed for featured articles and featured lists, because logs and templates give similar information.
  4. Try to keep the list proportionate among subjects. The distribution of topics should be rougly similar to what is expected in a traditional encyclopedia.
  5. Consider deleting some entries.
  6. Discuss any disputes on the talk page.
