Vertrue Incorporated, headquartered in Norwalk, CT., is a leading consumer services marketing company. Vertrue gives consumers access to services that offer substantial discounts and convenience for important decisions in their everyday lives. Vertrue's valued services span healthcare, personal property, security/insurance, discounts and personals, and are available to consumers through an array of online and offline channels. A premier marketing partner to corporate clients, Vertrue offers effective tools to enhance market presence, strengthen customer affinity and generate additional value.

Vertrue has recently expanded into the cosmetic surgery market by purchasing MyChoiceMedical, a subsidiary managing a group of plastic surgery practices and offering financing programs which in turn, purchased a popular cosmetic surgery message board (plasticsurgery.net). The domain name presently used, NewImage.com, is registered by AdaptiveMarketing, which is a marketing branch of Vertrue.

Vertrue is apparently a successor corporation to MWI, both of which have been attracting complaints from consumers who find unauthorized debits on their credit/debit cards.

In two instances, VistaPrint is known to have fed cards numbers to BusinessMax(888-840-6296), which is a cover corporation for Vertrue; and there is another entity: ProtectPlus (888-840-6296), also apparently a cover for Vertrue. Calls to both BusinesMax and ProtectPlus show that these two entities are in fact one and the same.

Vertrue is currently facing a class action lawsuit in District Court in Tennessee alleging the company makes fraudulent charges to debit and credit cards without the cardholders' consent.
