VersaCold, founded in 1946, operates 73 modern, temperature-controlled warehouses across Canada and in the US, Argentina, Australia, and New Zealand, with a combined storage capacity of close to 272 million cubic feet. They offer custom freezing and food processing, as well as complete third party logistics and transportation services.
The company's customers include food processors, manufacturers, retailers, wholesalers, importers/exporters, and distributors from the packaged goods, meat and poultry, fish, fruit, and vegetable sectors.
Some of their customers include: Cargill foods, Costco wholesale, Kellogg's, Nestle, Kraft, and more.
VersaCold is structured such that it is controlled by the VersaCold Income Fund, a limited purpose trust that generates monthly cash distributions for unitholders.
