Vernon Dvorak

Vernon Dvorak

Vernon F. Dvorak is a retired American meteorologist. In 1974, he developed the Dvorak technique to analyze tropical cyclones from satellite imagery. He worked with the National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service. Dvorak now lives in Ojai, California.
