Vermont Street is a station on Metra's Rock Island District, located in Blue Island, Illinois. The station lies 16.4 miles (26.4 km) away from LaSalle Street, the northern terminus of the line.^[1] In Metra's zone-based fare system, Vermont Street is in zone D.

The Rock Island service splits to the north of the station; most trains travel north over the Suburban Line, while some rush-hour trains travel north-east. A second Metra station to the north of Vermont Street, Blue Island, is the western terminus of the Blue Island branch of the Metra Electric.
