Vermont Route 31 is a short state highway in Vermont. Located entirely in Rutland County, it runs from the New York state line in Wells to Furnace Street in Poultney.

VT 31 begins at the New York state line in Wells, where the route continues south to New York State Route 149 in Granville as Washington County Route 25. The route heads north, paralleling the state line to the west and Lake St. Catherine to the east as it heads north into the town of Poultney. Shortly after crossing over the Poultney River and entering the village of Poultney, VT 31 terminates at VT 30.
