Vera Sessina Russian: Вера Валерьевна Сесина Vera Valer'evna Sesina (Born 23rd February, 1986 in Sverdlovsk , Soviet Union) is a Russian individual Rhythmic Gymnast. She trains in Moscow at the MGFCO - Dinamo Club. She started Rhythmic Gymnastics in 1993.
Vera Sessina won the all-around competition in the 2006 European Championships in Moscow, beating five-times European champion and Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva. In Mie Prefecture in Japan, Sessina closed successful season with winning three events of the FIG World Cup Finals.
