Welcome to Wikipedia, Vera26! My name is Ryan, aka Acetic Acid. I noticed that you were new and haven't received any messages yet. I just wanted to see how you were doing. Wikipedia can be a little intimidating at first, since it uses different formatting than other sites that use HTML and CSS. In the long run, though, you'll find that the WikiSyntax is a lot easier and faster than those other ways. Here are a few links to get you started:

There are a lot of policies and guides to read, but I highly recommend reading over those first. If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. Please be sure to sign your name on Talk Pages using four tildes (~~~~) to produce your name and the current date, along with a link to your user page. This way, others know when you left a message and how to find you. It's easier than having to type out your name, right? :)

Hi Vera26, thanks for your note, I blocked the IP once again. As a proxy used by so many Blackberry users, I'm afraid that bad faith edits are inevitable. I don't know for sure how many people are affected by blocks, but I know it's a lot. I made sure that the block affects only the IP address and anyone who has a problem with the short block I issued should contact RIM's abuse department. My understanding is that certifications are based on shipments, not actual sales; however, I don't believe A Public Affair has been certified, and I don't see it listed under her certifications on RIAA.com (they may be behind in updating the database, if it happened recently). I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created. Please remember to mark your edits, as you did to Hirofumi Araki as minor when (and only when) they genuinely are minor edits (see Wikipedia:Minor edit). Marking a major change as a minor one (and vice versa) is considered poor etiquette. The rule of thumb is that only an edit that consists solely of spelling corrections, formatting and minor rearranging of text should be flagged as a 'minor edit'. Thank you. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template.
