When it all breaks down, When there's nothing to lose
When there's no more to say and there is nothing to prove
Oh yeah bring it on, all things living in you.
You're not just what has happened, you can be something new.
But what you leave to the shadows, what stays in the dark, Will grieve you and seize you and cripple your heart.

[edit] WikiDefinitions
- wiki-editor - One who modifies wiki pages in any manner which is not blatant vandalism or spam.
- wiki-admin - One who has access to the technical tools needed to protect and delete pages, and block disruptive users. Typically admins use these tools to perform maintenance and housekeeping tasks such as AfD, Speedy Deletes, and thwarting vandals and spammers via blocking & protection of pages. Admins are editors as well, but admin tools are not usually needed for editing tasks.
- wiki-spam - is defined quite well by existing guidelines
[edit] Wiki-drama and spine-tingling suspense
- Despite the header, I think this process (RfA) works quite well. Many folks, who's hearts are in the right place, mean well and wouldn't intentionally misuse the tools - just aren't ready. Would I be saying this if my RfA had failed? I think so. Even though I'm an admin on two other wikis, the culture here is vastly different. While the technical aspects of the admin tools are the same, if I started using them here in the same way they are used on the other projects, folks here would rightly be calling for removal of my bit. That said, the RfA process fails when it's used to "reconfirm". Reconfirmation RfA's tend to run in the midst of controversy, this is a bad time, as it tends to gives undue weight to the current controversy and doesn't properly consider the individuals overall contribution to the project.
