I think Haversine should redirect to Haversine_formula rather than here.


It is really always non-negative, as stated in the "History and applications" section, if it is defined as 2sin²(θ/2), but not, if it is defined as 1-cosθ. Are the definitions missing a pair of || somewhere? --Pt 23:33, 6 Oct 2004 (UTC)
