Hello, I'm confused as to whether Versailles is the same or different as the predominantly Vietnamese-American community around the Mary Queen of Vietnam Church (which is in different place than the coordinates listed here). I thought that Versailles was in New Orleans East, not Saint Bernard Parish — and was also known as Village de L'Est. I'm not from the area, so I honestly don't know. Thanks! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.178.133.10 (talk) 00:13, 20 September 2007 (UTC)

The historic Versailles in St. Bernard is not the same as that in Eastern New Orleans. Whether the route of Paris Road had something to do with the shared name, I don't know. -- Infrogmation 02:58, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
