[edit] Height?
Article on Miranda_(moon) states the height of Verona Rupes as 10km, but this article has it at 12miles. -- BevanFindlay 11:19, 4 August 2006 (UTC)
- Both now list it at 20 km per Guinness World Records, tho with a link from APOD today we'll hopefully get better refs. -- Jeandré, 2007-07-01t08:07z
[edit] Trivia?
The trivia states that it would take 12 minutes to reach the bottom and the article states it's 12 miles. It also states you would hit the ground at 125 mph. Shouldn't that be 60 mph since it would take 12 minutes to go 12 miles at that speed? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.80.5.110 (talk • contribs) 2007-07-01t17:43:42z
- --It takes time to reach 125 mph. If you take the value of 530 (given in the second part of the trivia) and multiply it by 120 (gravity) and then divide it by 5280 (feet) you'll get 12 miles. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.52.232.2 (talk • contribs) 2007-07-02t15:48:45z
[edit] Which part's the cliff?
Some of us who are not astronomers can't tell the difference between the cliff and the terrain! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.165.47.100 (talk • contribs) 2007-07-24t16:26:06z
