[edit] Trinapolis church
Isn't the Trinapolis church in Baltupiai, not Verkiai ? Historically Verkiai was a separate village, and one had to cross Trinopolis when going to Verkiai from Vilnius, which would suggest it was a separate site. Unless you mean the whole elderate of course. --Lysytalk 12:31, 17 September 2006 (UTC)
Dear Lysy,
Trinapolis is indeed in Verkiai elderate (i live about a kilometer from it). Baltupiai is not closer to it that Žirmūnai are. On the other hand, we still cannot create a separate article for Trinapolis as it is factually a not a settlement, but just a beautiful arcitectural ensemble.
Some confusion is caused by the fact that we deal with Verkiai as a historical locality (almost non-existant nowadays) and Verkiai elderate in the same article. Iulius 13:45, 17 September 2006 (UTC)
- And to add, Verkiai elderate includes Baltupiai, Jeruzalė, Santariškės, Balsiai, Visoriai, and Verkiai (historical place). Renata 14:00, 17 September 2006 (UTC)

- You are right that it probably does not make sense to have separate articles for Verkiai and Verkiai elderate at the moment, but maybe some distinction could be in the article, so that it is clearer for non-Lithuanian readers, that these are in fact two different things (although of course not that very different). --Lysytalk 17:19, 17 September 2006 (UTC)
