Veronica Schneider Rodriguez was born on 16th December 1978. Being Miss Monagas 98, she competed in the Miss Venezuela 1998 pageant and she became the first runner-up. Thus, in November of that year, she went to the beautiful islands of the Seychelles to compete in the Miss World 1998 pageant, but although being a press favourite and despite being one of the most beautiful contestants competing there, she unluckily, didn't make it to the semi-finals. .

Veronica was a student of Computer Science at Universidad Central de Venezuela. She has quite an impressive experience in modelling. She was one of the faces of Gina Department Store.

In 2002, Veronica turned to television and signed with Venevision. The first role she got was in the telenovela 'Mambo y Canela' where she played the part of Wanda but her big break was with the telenovela 'Enganada' in 2003, where she played Marisela Ruiz Montero along with Peru's Jorge Aravena. The telenovela wasn't a big hit and Veronica was criticized for her poor acting skills.

In 2004, she went to Peru to play villain Fernanda in the telenovela 'Besos Robados', along with Juan Carlos Garcia and teen sensation Stephanie Cayo.

In 2005, she signed with RCTV and was offered a role, again as a villain, in "Amantes, la súper producción de época". Her character's name was Erika Hoffman.

Veronica is currently shooting a new telenovela entitled "Te tengo en salsa", produced by RCTV. She is still modelling. She is currently the face of Grunenthal Venezuela and has also been the spokesperson for Head&Shoulders in Venezuela.

In April 2006, Veronica Scnheider and Alejandro Otero (Mr Venezuela 1999 and Venezuelan telenovela actor) went to Cannes in France for the International Interactive Emmy Awards presented at MIPTV.

Love Life

Veronica has been romantically linked to Numa Delgado (Mr Venezuela 1998's first runner-up) and was rumoured to have dated Top Male Supermodel Enrique Palacios. She is currently dating telenovela actor Alejandro López.
