[edit] Introduction

The introduction should give a basic summary and overview of the main article, not omit important facts such as that she resides in the US. Tyrenius 15:14, 19 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Sources and external links

In every external link there is no single mention of Velasco or any person of the same name. Also, in the list of American newspapers it sasys "John Shown, NYT, October 1986" but there is no such author or article. Is this entire entry fake or no? Then why are the sources virtually non-existent? Is Velasco herself writing this page herself to promote herself? It's weird that there are many sources listed and nobody can find a single relevent website about her except her own...(67.80.32.189 06:37, 5 November 2007 (UTC))

I agree, the person is completely unsignificant; but my AfD from June 2006 was unsuccessful, mainly due to small number of voters. Try it again if you wish, and let me know, I will surely support you.--Ioannes Pragensis 08:38, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
I don't think the entry is "fake" in the sense the person doesn't exist.[1] [2] [3] [4] The last two even suggest a lasting significance not mentioned in the article. But I agree the sources are over-listed, and since many are dead links they should be updated to link through archive.org.[5] Gimmetrow 23:38, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
But none of the two two links you gave is peer-reviewed, they are just normal websites everybody can produce. I lack two independent learned books or articles about her. THIS is the proof of significance of an artist, not websites.--Ioannes Pragensis 17:52, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
