Venustilifer is a genus of sea snails, marine gastropod molluscs in the family Stiliferidae.
[edit] Description
The shells are small, thin and fragile, with the inflated body whorl of Stilifer, but a low spire, and a smooth, paucispiral peg-like protoconch, set obliquely to the adult shell. In stilifer, which is truly parasitic, the pseudopallium envelops all but the apical whorls, but in Venustilifer it extends only to the lower part of the body whorl.
