[edit] History

Amy Schroeder founded Venus Zine in her Michigan State University dorm room as a freshman in 1995. It began as a photocopied, black and white, stapled fanzine but over the years has grown into a full-size glossy publication. In 2006, it was bought by two Chicago magazine publishers, Anne Brindle and Marci Sepulveda.
