Venla is a Finnish feminine given name, a feminine version of the Germanic name Wendel, which is derived from the Germanic word element wendel, meaning "Vandal", in reference to a Germanic tribe.[1] Venla was the fourth most popular name for baby girls born in Finland in 2007.[2]
