Venezuela is a municipality and city in the Ciego de Ávila Province of Cuba. It is located immediately south of the provincial capital, Ciego de Ávila.

In 2004, the municipality of Venezuela had a population of 27,333.[2] With a total area of 716 km² (276.4 sq mi),[1] it has a population density of 38.2/km² (98.9/sq mi).
