Venerius of Milan

Saint Venerius of Milan (d. 409) was a bishop of Milan. Ordained a deacon by Saint Ambrose, he became bishop of that city around 400 AD, after the death of Saint Simplician, his predecessor.
He was a friend of Saint John Chrysostom.
