Vendetta is an HBO original movie starring Christopher Walken, based on actual events that took place in New Orleans on March 14, 1891. Eighteen Italian-Americans were falsely accused of the murder of the police chief. After their acquittal, 11 of them were shot or hung in one of the largest mass lynchings in American history.
