Vellodi Narayana Menon K was the first Chief Minister of Hyderabad state[1]. He was a Senior Civil servant in the Government of India. He was from Kerala an Indian state.
Hyderabad state was absorbed by Indian Union in 1948 with the help of Operation polo. In January 1950, M.K.Vellodi, was made the Chief Minister of the State and the Nizam was designated `Raj Pramukh'. He was in the office from 26 Jan 1950 to 6 Mar 1952.
First elected Chief Minister of Hyderabad state Burgula Ramakrishna Rao worked as revenue and education minister in Vellodi's Government.
