Veliki Brat 2007 is the second season of the hit television reality show Veliki brat, the Serbian, Bosnian^[1] and Montenegrin^[1] version of Big Brother.

The second season started on the September 22, 2007 and was supposed to run until its scheduled finale on January 5, 2008^[2], however, immediately following a tragic car accident in which three of the evicted housemates - Stevan Zečević, Zorica Lazić and Elmir Kuduzović - died, the producers of the show, Emotion and B92 TV, decided to cancel the season on December 29, 2007.^[2]

At 9:00pm on December 29th, the TV audience was informed about the stoppage of broadcasts effective immediately. It was announced that all of the remaining housemates (7 of them) had left the VB House during the afternoon, and that the prize money would be split among them. After the statement, archive footage of the three deceased former housemates was shown.

There were no statements on what would be done with the amount of € 20,000 earned by two housemates as a part of their on-air secret tasks. This amount was supposed to be given as a humanitarian donation to institutions or individuals in need.

On December 28, 2007, three housemates, who had all been evicted earlier in the season, were killed in a fatal car acccident. Stevan Zečević, Zorica Lazić and Elmir Kuduzović were killed when the Citroen C4 which they were riding in, which was being driven by Kuduzović, ran off the road near the town of Ušće, Serbia.^[3] The car reportedly skidded off the road due to excesive speed on a turn, flipped onto its roof and landed in the Vukodraž River.^[3] The accident happened on Obrenovac-Šabac road, which was icy at the time.^[3] A fourth person in the car, Vladimir Sarić, who was not a member of the Veliki brat 2007 cast, was injured in the crash.^[3] Another car carrying fellow evicted housemates, Tanja Obradović and Jelena Žeželj, was also traveling in front of them at the time, but was not involved in the accident.^[3]

Zečević, Lazić and Kuduzović had been enroute to make a scheduled celebrity promotional appearance at a party when they were killed. ^[2] The remaining Veliki Brat (Big Brother) housemates were informed of the accident off-camera. ^[2]

Serbian television station B92 and Emotion production company (local Big Brother licence holder) announced in a press statement issued on December 29 that they had decided to end the season early due to the tragic deaths of Zečević, Lazić and Kuduzović.^[2] The show had been previously scheduled to end its season on January 5, 2008.^[2] Zečević, Lazić and Kuduzović had been scheduled to return to the Big Brother house on New Years Eve as part of the season finale.^[1]

The cancellation was reportedly the first time that any Big Brother season had been cancelled anywhere in the world since The Boss, the Middle Eastern version of Big Brother.^[1]

Stevan Zečević was born in 1983 and was from Novi Sad, Serbia.^[3] Zorica Lazić was also born in 1983 and was from Zemun, a neighborhood in the city of Belgrade.^[3] Elmir Kuduzović came from the city of Tuzla in Bosnia-Herzegovina, and was born in 1981.^[3]

Nine housemates entered the house on launch night. A week later on day seven, five more entered the house. On day thirty five Miroslav, who took part in the first season but decided to quit after fifteen days entered the house. Out of 22 total housemates, 17 were from Serbia, 3 from Bosnia and Herzegovina and 2 from Montenegro.

Tanja Obradović, 21 (Loznica, Serbia). She was the 7th evictee, on Day 39.

Živan Janićijević - Burek, 26 (Sočanica, Serbia). He was the 4th evictee, on Day 28. He came back to the house on Day 84.

Suzana Pavlović, 22 (Smederevo, Serbia)

Miloš Vasiljević - Mišel, 20 (Gornji Milanovac, Serbia). He was the 6th evictee, on Day 35.

Dijana Mićić, 21 (Bijeljina, Bosnia and Herzegovina). She was the 16th evictee, on Day 91.

Nataša Ilić, 26 (Niš, Serbia)

Ranka Radanović, 22 (Čurug, Serbia). She was the 1st evictee, on Day 7.

Marina Ignjatović, 31 (Šabac, Serbia). She was the 14th evictee, on Day 77

Jelena Žeželj, 20 (Belgrade, Serbia). She was the 5th evictee, on Day 35.

Danilo Tomić, 29 (Užice, Serbia). He entered on Day 7. He was the 2nd evictee, on Day 14. He came back to the house on Day 84. He left the house on Day 89.

Miloš Novaković - Mićko, 28 (Podgorica, Montenegro). He entered on Day 7. He left the house on Day 51.

Stevan Zečević, 23 (Novi Sad, Serbia). He entered on Day 7. He was the 3rd evictee, on Day 21. He came back to the house on Day 56. He was the 13th evictee, on Day 70. Died in a car accident on December 28th, 2007.

Elmir Kuduzović, 26 (Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina). He entered on Day 7. He was the 8th evictee, on Day 42. Died in a car accident on December 28th, 2007.

Slaviša Lakić, 29 (Prijedor, Bosnia and Herzegovina). He entered on Day 7. He was the 11th evictee, on Day 56.

Miroslav Đuričić - Miki, 30 (Kupinovo, Serbia). He entered on Day 35. He left the house on Day 75.

Aleksandar Kocić, 27 (Vranje, Serbia). He entered on Day 39.

Vesna Milovac, 27 (Novi Sad, Serbia). She entered on Day 39.

Đorđe Stojanović, 29 (Velika Plana, Serbia). He entered on Day 39.

Zorica Lazić, 24 (Zemun, Serbia). She entered on Day 39. She was the 12th evictee, on Day 63. Died in a car accident on December 28th, 2007.

Gojko Muzikravić, 28 (Čačak, Serbia). He entered on Day 39. He was the 9th evictee, on Day 49.

Vesko Bošković, 42 (Nikšić, Montenegro). He entered on Day 60.

Mirko Đuričić, 56 (Kupinovo, Serbia). He entered on Day 70. He was the 15th evictee, on Day 84.

Note 1: Only the King, Mišel could nominate this week.
Note 2: Elmir was banned from nominating as punishment for talking about politics, Mićko was banned from nominating as punishment for talking about the outside world.
Note 3: Stevan was automatically nominated for threatening Big Brother, Burek was banned for political discussion and provocation, Elmir was banned for throwing fagend to Marina, Jelena and Nataša were banned for public suggestion they would nominate Tanja, Mićko was banned for discussing nominations.
Note 4: Mićko was automatically nominated for violent behavior
Note 5: Dijana and Jelena were automatically nominated for discussing nominations, Slaviša was automatically nominated for refusing to nominate, Mićko was banned for discussing nominations and got a punishment for the whole house - 48 hours without hot water, because of violent behavior. Two housemates left the house this week
Note 6: Surprising nominations happened on Day 35, Saturday. The 7th housemate left the house on Day 39, Halloween
Note 7: There were no regular nominations this week. Aleksandar and Miki were automatically nominated for failing to succeed in the weekly assignment. Miki chose Slaviša to be the 3rd nominee. Dijana, Marina, Nataša, Slaviša and Suzana were given the chance to return one of the evicted housemates back to the house. They chose Stevan.
Note 8: Mirko could not be nominated this week because it was his first week in the house. Miki decided to leave the house on Day 75 after he failed to convince Mirko, his father, to leave the house.
Note 9: Dijana and Đorđe could not be nominated this week because they won immunity in this weeks wedding task. Two housemates returned to the house after 35-min public vote on Day 84.
Note 10: There were no nominations this week and all housemates were nominated because Danilo refused to leave the confession room. He protested since Big Brother refused to bring him his clothes. Dijana and Đorđe could have won immunity to nominations if they had completed the weekly assignment.
Note 11: The nominations were public, for the first and only time in the season.
