As a person who has had to take volumes of hormonal medications, I tend to be skeptical about hormones not playing a part. Ones experience tends to differ w/what is being said on the page.

Shouldn't it read that the hair is less than 2 millimeters, not centimeters? I would not call 2cm "peach fuzz". That would be plain old hair. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Conical Johnson (talk • contribs) 07:44, 15 November 2007 (UTC)

Vellus hair also has the characteristic that, unlike terminal or other hair, it is very difficult - and painful - to pull out or pluck. I think this should go in the article, but I have no sources so leave it to a better editor... Nick Michael (talk) 10:28, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
