  • Keep, move to cleanup. Velt isn't just an adjective, it's a specific instance of a biome (I dunno if it's officially Deserts and xeric shrublands or Tropical Savannas), and has specific geography, geology, hydrology, and plant and animal life. -- Finlay McWalter 11:51, 11 Dec 2003 (UTC)

To suggest that this article should be deleted is silly. The veld is not simply an adjective, it is a specific region and type of countryside in Southern Africa. If it is deleted one might as well delete the articles on the pampas of Argentina, the prairies of North America or for that matter the Sahara or the Amazon Rainforest.
