Talk:Vekoma
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I rewrote this page to try and move some of the language and POV discussion of Vekoma out of the main part of the article and into a subsection called "criticism". --68.32.169.150 04:34, 26 September 2005 (UTC)
What is "Disovery World" as mentioned under Roller Coaster types / Tilt Coaster?
Also, there is a sentence "This coaster model is known for being extremely uncomfortable." that exists between Suspended Looping Coaster and Swinging Turns that does not clearly indicate what it is refering to.

[edit] Removed Criticism section
I removed the following text from the article as it was completely unsourced; criticism of the company should have verifiable sources. As unsourced criticism may be harmful to the company, I have moved it here per WP:CITE. Zzxc 02:15, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
Many Vekoma roller coasters have been criticized by coaster enthusiasts due to suffering large amounts of headbanging and overall bumpiness of their rides. This bumpiness can be blamed on the old-style wheel structure, where there is a gap between the upstop and the rail to allow for tighter turns. Vekoma is also criticised by taking many designs from Arrow Dynamics, such as the track and cars for a suspended coaster and the standard looper.
