The Vegetarian Finch (Platyspiza crassirostris) is a species of bird in the Emberizidae family. It is monotypic within the genus Platyspiza. It is endemic to Ecuador. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests and subtropical or tropical moist montanes.
