Vegetable tarkari
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Vegetable tarkaris, also known as "Sabzi Ki Bhujiya", are a spicy vegetable curry, which is very popular in India. There are many ways of preparing tarkaris ranging from easily cooked curries to exquisite and sophisticated types. The Nawabs of Uttar Pradesh and Hyderabad Deccan have contributed a great deal in the promotion and invention of many new varieties of vegetable tarkaris. When some Indian Muslims migrated to Pakistan after independence in 1947, they took these rich traditions of tarkaris with them.
