Vegenceful aka Dead Voicemail is a khmer horror film remake from Japan hit thriller One Missed Call.

Four rose is a popular band in every club of Phnom Pehn with five member such as Mara, Vattey, Sapear, Ann and Kajam. Kajam is the resident of the band but she has an affair with a rich man, One day his wife calls Kajam with the blackmail that if she doesn't leave her husband,She will be kill. To her fear of dead, Kajam tells her member about this, they tell her to leave the rich man, but the rich man still follow her, so Kajam makes a cruel plan with all of her members, expect Mara. Kajam take Jamery, the new singer in her club that she always mock at her, to a restaurant, for make her drug and then take her to the guest house for the rich man to has sex with. After Jamery wakes up, the time is runing out,her mother is died and her reputation become bad to everyone in her village for unhonest girlfriend and ungratefulness child. When she finds out she now pregnant with the rich man, she become more painful. As her painful and revenge of her toward four rose band, Jamery goes to her abandoned flat and disappear. Fews weeks later, one of the Four rose band, Sapear gets a call with the voicemail of her scream,she doesn't about it until one night when sapear's brother, Bun, hears her scream and enters her room, he finds sapear's body looks pale and there is a small grape drop from her mouth. Everyone feel sorry about her death as they enjoy her funeral but they still don't worry about their safety in the future.

Two days later, Vattey receives a call from sapear's phone mumber and the voicemail of her last moment with the voice of a woman tell when Vattey going to die. She thinks it must be someone's joke. In the day of her death, when Vattey waits her boyfriend on the bridge, she gets a call from Mara with ask her that she doesn't be careful but vattey replys that she doesn't worry everything to the dead voicemail, suddenly, during the call,a strange hand pulls Vattey off the bridge and hit by a truck under the bridge. Vattey hits the group and the truck drive on her body. When the truck drive aways,There are Vattey's body in bloody and her hand cut off,typs someone's phone number. Just a week later, four rose band lost two members, that make everyone in the town, think it maybe the ghost make it. Mara and Kajam go to the location of Vattey's dead and hear that Vattey's death is the suicide. They worried about their safety and wake for the killer call but it go to Ann. He get it but he not believe it but in his day of dead,he going to celebrate a party in a supermarket at the top floor, Mara warn him don't go but he refuse. When he take his foot on the elevator's floor, suddenly, the floor disappears and a woman's hands catch his leg to fall to the ground. Ann is died and a small graph drop from his mouth but his phone call automotic to Kajam's number. At that night, Kajam receive the call from Ann with the picture of herself but a strange hand behind her back. To her shock and horror, Kajam drop her phone strongly to the floor. After that day, Kajam sells her phone and stay at home to escape from the death,but a group of reporter come to her and take her to their show for protect her by an exorcism. Meanwhile, Mara meet Bun,Sopear's brother by chance. He says that each member's death is strange as they get the voicemail and kills at the date that the voicemail say. Mara and Bun go to find Jamery when they find her voice is the same to the voicemail talker. They think Jamery is behind everyone's death. When theyh working to slove the mystery, they see in the TV that an exorcism for kajamrepare. So they hurry to the show. In te exorcism show, Jamery sits on the floor and a ghost buster to save her from the ghost, ut suddenly, the light turn off,the ghost buster kills. Kajam is so scare and she run from the show. As Mara and Bun came, They take her out of the show. Suddenly Kajam's arms are broke by no one. Kajam screams with Jamery voice that she should cut Kajam's body to many pieces. Mara can't help Kajam, just only look all Kjam's body broken in terror. All Kajam's body broken, and her head cut off from her body, her body walks for the last steps, and falls on the floor. Suddenly Mara's phone begin to ring with her own voice scream. At the day of Mara going to die, Mara and Bun get a lot of imformation around Jamery's disappearance but no one can't tell them where she is. But Mara hears about a woman talk about Jamery's abandoned flat and she goes to that house to find Jamery. She tells Bun that she going to that Flat and Bun will there later. During her Visiting in that flate, she is haunted by Jamery's deadful spirit and Jamery try to kills her but Bun come on time to help Mara to escape from this flat. But on the way,they find her body with a phone and a sting ties her neck,suddenly the door close and keep Mara alone with Jamery's body. Bun tries to open the door but he can't while Jamery's body begin to move to kill Mara but she stop for Mara's apologize for her fault to Jamery. Jamery's body back to her death's place and the door open. When They back, They find a true pain and suffering of Jamery in her diary. But the nightmare is not over. In that night,Jamery mother's grave explode and jamery's mother come to kills Mara, Mara escape to hides in the bathroom. Bun come to Mara's house and see Mara brushs her hair, he hugs her but Mara turn to Jamery's mother and stabbs un with a knife. Suddenly Jamery's spirit appears and take her mother's spirit to heaven together. Mara sees this event and take Bun to hospital.

In The morning, Bun wakes up and look very scary when Mara has the grapes but he get a kiss from Mara. As the end of the film,Mara and Bun live together as a family.
