This document seems to sourced in part from the documentation for the GNU Scientific Libraries. Doesn't this page need to have the license statement on it?

Depends on if it is verbatim copied or just used as a source, and also the GNU Scientific libraries docs are GFDL right? - Taxman Talk 13:25, 16 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Merge

  • I also disagree with a merge into Monte Carlo as this is a detailed subtopic, and the main monte carlo article does not have room for this level of detail on every subtopic. - Taxman Talk 13:25, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
  • I disagree with merge: the VEGAS algorithm is a particular algorithm that deserves its own article and can be discussed in detail, whereas Monte Carlo integration is a very general and broad topic. Althoug the Monte Carlo integration article currently has a detailed info on VEGAS, I rather think it should be detached and brought into this article. -- Ekjon Lok 23:03, 3 November 2006 (UTC)
