[edit] Top Gear mention

I need to point it out that the person who slated the car from Top Gear is none other than Yank-car hater Jeremy Clarkson.

Would that be the same Clarkson who bought a GT40?

-- Actually, no - it would be the same Clarkson that bought a Ford GT. (The GT and the Ford GT40, whilst sharing many visual styling cues, are fundamentally different cars) 87.194.60.87 16:26, 22 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Verification Requested

There are a few errors in the Vector article that I am requesting verification of before I change the article. There were only 17 W8s sold and only 14 M12s produced for sale. The original W2 was not dismantled by Megatech because it was in the hands of Gerald Wiegert in 1998 (I saw it).

[edit] New Title

The title of this subject should be Vector Aeromotive Corporation and not Vector Supercars.

Actually it seems to me, if the information given is correct, the lemma for this article should be either Vector Motors or Vector Motors Corporation. --BjKa 09:05, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] References

Reference 3. is nothing more than a poorly written plaguarisation of this Wiki entry itself. Not only does it add nothing at all to this piece, frankly it detracts from it, being littered with spelling mistakes and incredibly poor grammar. It may be many things, but a suitable reference source for an encyclopedia entry is not amongst them.

As an unregistered user I won't delete the link myself, but I'd strongly encourage a review of it.

From the tv.com biography contribution page: "All submissions go through a moderation step prior to going live on the site to ensure accuracy and quality."
I do not believe the submission was moderated effectively for quality, which gives me cause to question the accuracy of the submission.
Per wikipedia's rules on questionable sources, I also feel that information from the tv.com biography should be reviewed and/or pulled pending verification elsewhere. Protomech (talk) 20:24, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Vectorlogo.JPG

Image:Vectorlogo.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit] This article references a show that has not happened yet.

It makes mention of a debut at the 2008 L.A. Auto Show. The L.A. Auto Show is in November (it's now Jan. 2008). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.70.59.94 (talk) 18:52, 27 January 2008 (UTC)

Changing to 2007 L.A. Auto Show, since that's where the referring article says the photo was taken. P.F. Bruns (talk) 23:25, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
