Vauhini Vara

Vauhini Vara (born August 1, 1982) is a Canadian-born journalist working in the US. Vara was born in Regina, Saskatchewan and grew up in Edmond, Oklahoma and Mercer Island, Washington. She studied International Relations at Stanford University, where she was the first recipient of the Daniel Pearl Memorial Journalism Internship. She has worked as a technology reporter for the Wall Street Journal since 2004. She currently lives in San Francisco.
