Vasyl Durdynets

(Maj. Gen. Ret.) Vasyl Vasylovych Durdynets (Ukrainian: Василь Васильович Дурдинець, b. 27 September 1937) is a Ukrainian statesman and diplomat. He served as Acting Prime Minister of Ukraine during a short period in June - July, 1997.
Career Soviet law enforcer, Durdynets went up on the service in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of newly-independent Ukraine, then in the Government of Ukraine. He is recently the ambassador of Ukraine to Hungary.
