The pat on his gun was incredibly incorrect, comparing it to three different revolvers that bear no physical resemblance at all (The mateba "autorevolver", Schofield *top break*, and Single Action Army.
Just leave it out, it really didn't add anything, and didn't make much sense.
Vash habitually carries a .45 long, custom silver coated metal bodied revolver resembling a Mateba Autorevolver (though the gun is possibly modeled after many other revolvers).
Great. Now they leave in just the bit about the mateba autorevolver, which the gun still has no resemblence to. I'ma take this out... 72.241.165.155 20:57, 2 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Needs more information
This article is a great base however it seems there is quite a lot more information that could be integrated. I need to dig out my dvds for episode citations as well as to expand more on the pivotal storyline section. The previous version had the manga differences as a section at the bottom- -I removed and reintegrated this information to avoid repeating the same base information when there were only minor listed differences between the two versions. I also added and set a base article for the Plant information to provide a solid point to contrast the brothers' control over their powers. There is a lot more work to be done- -but isn't that always the case?
[edit] Removed part in introduction relating to Kenshin
I'm not entirely sure how wikipedia works, but I don't think that relating to another character, in which some people may not have never heard of, should be put in the introduction. It also seems more like trivia.
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Trigun-Render.jpg
Image:Trigun-Render.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit] Stanpeat
Should it be mentioned that the anime also writes his name as "Vash the Stanpeat" at one point or is this irrelevant? --Hecko (talk) 22:29, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
The part about wolfwood is wrong. It says that Wolfwood asks Vash his real name in the anime, and later on Vash goes by Erics when Wolfwood finds him. This chronology is incorrect. Vash went by Erics earlier. The episode in which Wolfwood asks Vash his real name is the episode that Wolfwood dies. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.177.145.227 (talk) 23:46, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
