Brya, while I think I understand your reasons for reducing down this page, I think you did not consider the reasons for retaining it. This page is intended to be the overview article for the vascular tissue system in plants, providing the basics (only) about the overall structure of one of the three tissue systems in vascular plants. Perhaps the article should be renamed to reflect this fact. In any case, if you have ways to improve this article towards that end, I would welcome such changes. However, I strongly oppose reducing the article to a mere list of links. Doing so would eliminate the entry article for the subject. --EncycloPetey 06:32, 24 January 2006 (UTC)

Well, after the first dozen bad errors I saw in this page I quickly switched back to the Talk page. I think this is absolutely hopeless (words fail me).
This page serves no purpose and can serve no purpose. There might be a page for the "vascular system", a huge topic, and such a page would be introductory only.
Certainly I have proven by now that I consistently tried to add real content, backed by well-documented and well illustrated links. You consistently reversed these to substitute matter that (I paraphrase you) a freshmen using an introductory text might jumble together, if he kept his eyes half close in reading his introductory text, in a course he was doomed to fail. The page as it now is is beneath contempt. Brya 18:01, 24 January 2006 (UTC)
