Varun Badola

Varun Badola (born 7 January 1974 in New Delhi) is an Indian small screen TV actor who has acted in many Hindi TV dramas.

His father is a known artist, Mr. Vishwa Mohan Badola. He has 2 sisters - Alka (elder) who is married and has appeared in KumKum, and a younger sister Kalindi, who is an RJ.

He did his schooling from Sardar Patel Vidyalaya situated in New Delhi. From Jhoom India, Varun proved himself to a fantastic singer. He is already known as a versatile dancer and a brilliant actor.

Badola spent his childhood on Ahmedabad. After doing his college, he came to fulfill his ambition to become an actor.

There were days when he only had 25 bucks in his pocket when he got a call from Balaji for Koshish (his and Balaji's first superhit) Today he is known not only as a good actor but a consistent actor who has handled difficult roles with much ease and portrait them beautifully. He also has other special talents. He is now a popular dancer and a well known singer.

Other than on-screen talents, the off-screen ones attract Varun as well. He has worked with Tigmanshu Dhulia as Assistant Director and costume arranger in his early days. Even today, he writes script for his show - Aek Chabi hai pados mein and even directs it. He has also written dialoges for Aek Chabi hai pados mein and Astitva ek Prem Kahani.

He is also a huge cricket fan and has voluntarily played and won many charity cricket matches organised by IndianTellyAcademy.

He has been a constant part of the Star Parivar Awards and has performed in them too a lot of times. He won the best actor award for Astitva...ek prem kahani.

Badola married dancer/singer/actress Rajeshwari Sachdeva (of 'Hulle Hullare' fame) on 24 November 2004. They were engaged on 12 May the same year.
