Varteres Varteresovich Samourgachev (Russian: Вартерес Вартересович Самургашев; born September 13, 1979 in Rostov-on-Don) is a Russian wrestler who won a gold medal at the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, and a bronze medal at the 2004 Olympics in Athens. He is a lawyer by profession.

Samourgachev won gold at the 2000 Olympics in the Greco-Roman Featherweight 63kg weight class. Samourgachev also won a bronze medal for Greco-Roman 74kg wrestling at the 2004 Olympics. He was in the final ranking, bronze final, semifinal bout 2, Elimination Pool E Ranking, and Elimination Pool E.
Samourgachev has also been world champion twice (2002 and 2005). In April 2006, in Moscow, he became European champion for the first time.
