Varsha Bhosle (Hindi वर्षा भोसले) (born 1958)[1]is an Indian journalist and writer based in Mumbai. She is the daughter of Indian playback singer, Asha Bhosle[2]. She wrote columns for the Indian web portal, Rediff, during 1997 - 2003; columns for The Sunday Observer[3]during 1994 - 1998; and for Gentleman magazine in 1993[4]. She also wrote a little for the Times of India[5].
Varsha has worked as a playback singer in Hindi and Marathi movies, and appeared in concerts with her mother[6].
Varsha studied Political Science at Elphinstone College, which is affiliated with Bombay University in Mumbai[7].

Varsha's writings are against Islamism and Islamist terrorism, Leftist politics, and what she calls pseudo-secularism.

August 2004 electoral rolls of Mumbai record Varsha's age then as 46[8]and her being married at that time to Hemant Kenkre.She currently lives in Mumbai with her mother, Asha.
