The variegated electric ray (Diplobatus pictus) is a species of fish in the Narcinidae family. It is found in Brazil, French Guiana, Guyana, Suriname, and Venezuela. Its natural habitats are open seas, shallow seas, subtidal aquatic beds, coral reefs, and intertidal flats. It is threatened by habitat loss.
