The Variable Wheatear (Oenanthe picata) is a species of bird in the Muscicapidae family. It is found in Afghanistan, Egypt, India, Iran, Israel, Kazakhstan, Lebanon, Nepal, Oman, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, United Arab Emirates, and Uzbekistan.
Its natural habitat is hot deserts.
