Varetada (Greek: Βαρετάδα) is a small Greek village which now belongs to the municipality of Amfilochia. It lies in the perfecture of Aitoloakarnania and the Valtos province. Its population reached in the past the No. of 294 inhabitants (2001 census). Recently the population is constantly declining. Its altitude is 480 meters above the sea level. The municipal district includes the small settling of Megas Kampos - (Μέγας Κάμπος). Podogora was part of the municipality but now belongs to the Inachous' municipality.

Varetada is linked with Amfilochia through a provincial road. In the village there is the church of Saint Demetrius and an old monastery.
