Varaždinske Toplice is a town in Croatia in the Varaždin county. According to the 2001 census, the population of the municipality is 6,973. The town is well known for its hot springs and medical center, even from the times of Ancient Rome (Aquae Iassae).

The town has two memorial areas to World War II. One is the site of a former Partisan hospital, while the other is a memorial to Croatian soldiers massacred by Partisans on September 29, 1943.[1] The site of the massacre is commemmorated each year in late September.[2]
