Vanyda

Vanyda (born 1979) is a comic creator from Lille (France). She's part of the french comics new wave or La nouvelle manga. Vanyda was a nominee in 2005 at the Angoulême International Comics Festival in the Prize for First Comic Book category for her first album The building opposite ('l'immeuble d'en face')[citation needed] which was ranked Manga of the year 2006 by the Publisher's Weekly[1]. Vanyda graduated from the Beaux Arts in Tournai (Belgium).
