Vanvikan

Vanvikan is a village in the west part municipality of Leksvik, Norway. Its population (2007) is 748, and it covers an area of 0.69 square kilometres.[1].

The village is an industrial centre, with the various technology industries under Lyng Industrier as important employers.[2]

Vanvikan is connected to Trondheim by means of a fast passenger boat route across the Trondheim Fjord, while the car ferry route (Rørvik-Flakk) is further to the west[3]. One of the two schools in Leksvik municipality, Vanvikan Skole is located in Vanvikan.
