Vangjush Mio (3 March 1891 - 1957) was an Albanian painter. After years of studying, working and painting, he achieved fame and also the title of 'People's Artist' in Albania.
Vangjush Mio was born in Korçë, Albania. In 1908, aged 17, he went to Romania and enrolled in the School of Fine Arts of Bucharest. After finishing school, he opened his first exhibit which was very successful. In 1920, he returned in Albania for a few months and in September went to Rome where he enrolled at the Fine Arts Royal Institute, abandoning his course for economic reasons. In 1924 he returned again to Rome, finished his studies and graduated with a license as a painter.
