Vangani is a town in Maharashtra, India near the city of Mumbai. It is serviced by the Mumbai suburban railway on the Mumbai-Karjat route. It has a beautiful waterfall to the east of the railway station during the monsoons. There is also a small route from the Shanker Temple to ascend to Chanderi hill top from the wadi. One is advised not to climb during the monsoons.
