Vanessa Lee Evigan was born on March 18, 1981 in Burbank, California to actor Greg Evigan and model/actress Pamela Serpe. She is the oldest of the couple's three children. She grew up in Toronto. [1]

She has dated Rob Bourdon, drummer of nu metal band Linkin Park from 2001-2007. In a Z100 chat in February 2008 with Rob and Joe Hahn, DJ of Linkin Park, Rob stated that he is single.

"I have a serious girlfriend. We've no plans to get married anytime soon, but we've been together for a little over two years, and everything's going good so far." - Rob Bourdon (October 2003) [2]

In 2001, Vanessa appeared in the vocal group Nuance from the video game Unison: Rebels of Rhythm and Dance. The group consisted of Vanessa, Brianna Hayes, and Rachel Riggs playing the characters of Cela, Chilly and Trill. They were described as "an up-and-coming unsigned R&B/pop group". Their vocal coach was Seth Riggs (Michael Jackson, Madonna, Faith Hill). Some of their songs included Hot Like Me, Apology, Stop, and Wide Open. They were managed by Larry Rudolph.[3]

In December 2007, Vanessa starred in the ABC Family's big holiday hit "Holiday in Handcuffs".
