The College of Arts and Science is a highly selective liberal arts college at the heart of Vanderbilt University, a major research university located in Nashville, Tennessee. The College confers the Bachelor of Arts degree on undergraduates, and, in conjunction with the Graduate School, the Master of Arts, Master of Science, and the Doctor of Philosophy degrees on graduate students.[1]
